The Egyptian celebrated her 90th birthday on November 19th, 2015. A variety of activities occurred in the week before the big day including a celebratory Roaring 20’s Dinner, the movie The Great Gatsby was shown Friday, and Saturday and we had a talk about local history from Historian Lionel Youst as well as a birthday cake and cupcakes provided by the North Bend High School culinary class on Sunday.
Our membership year is January 1st thru December 31st so now is a perfect time to join.

For us to be able to keep on having special, celebratory events like the 90th birthday celebration at the Egyptian and keep on serving the citizens of the greater Bay Area, we need your help via yearly Egyptian Memberships.
Your membership dues go towards the day-to-day operations of the theatre – the mundane stuff like electricity, heat, water, insurance, postage – you get the picture. Whether we are open or not, it costs about $250 a day to operate the building. Without yearly memberships we would be really hard pressed to pay our bills.
