Volunteers are the heart and soul of The Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association. These wonderful folks find meaning in their work through commitment to a great cause in the service of our community.
Our Egyptian Theatre is the Grande Dame of the South Coast, equal to any entertainment palace in Oregon in her day. Our Theatre is the best-preserved Egyptian style theatre on the west coast, the repository of our memories stands as a statement about who we are and what we believe in. It’s also just plain fun to be a part of it!
Whatever your skills, you can find an outlet for them at our community’s Egyptian Theatre home.
We need folks with various skills –
Folks who can run our ticket booth.
Serve our patrons at our concessions stand.
Work as hosts at special Theatre events.
Those that can give guided tours and explain the Theatre’s history.
Help us communicate with our patrons, members, and donors.
Those handy with a screwdriver and hammer, and
Those “technology capable” who would enjoy learning to serve on one of our projection or sound system crews.
So please, come on in.. become a part of our
ongoing Story and History!
